Saf-T-Seal™ tubes with tethered caps have an inert TPE O-ring molded directly into the white polypropylene tethered cap. The O-ring cannot fall out, and an optical quality control process ensures a perfect seal. The tubes are made from high-clarity, medical-grade polypropylene. 2.0 mL tubes have graduations and a writing surface; 0.5 mL and 1.5 mL tubes have no markings. Certified free of detectable RNase, DNase, DNA, PCR inhibitors and pyrogens. Sterile and pre-assembled with caps open.
