Five ml “shortie” pipets are easier to handle in confined spaces such as tissue culture hoods or protective workstations. They measure just 8.66” long and are 3” shorter than our standard size pipets or 5” shorter than other brands. Wide tip pipets reduce cell shearing and are ideal for viscous solutions.

Individually wrapped pipets are packaged in paper-backed plastic sleeves that minimize static. The sleeves have a large flanged area for peel-apart opening. Pipets can also be pushed through the paper side.

Color-coded polypropylene plugs for easy volume identification. 5 ml pipets have blue plugs. Sterilized and certified RNase free, DNase free, non-cytotoxic and pyrogen free.
